BIENESTAR 360 – DOWN UNDER WELLNESS

Our Story: How It All Started

Migration brings courage — but also challenges.

For many Spanish-speaking women in Brisbane, the journey has meant navigating new roles, languages, systems, and often, putting personal wellbeing last.

That’s why we created “Bienestar 360 UNDER DOWN WELLNESS “Experience the Journey to Holistic Wellness”

A program tailored for women like us — women who carry stories, cultures, and strength, yet need a space to breathe, heal, and thrive.

Why We Partnered & the Needs of Spanish-Speaking Migrant Women in Brisbane

Our partnership stems from a shared understanding of the unique challenges faced by Spanish-speaking migrant women in Brisbane.

The migration process often brings significant shifts in habits and priorities, with many women frequently neglecting their own health and wellbeing due to pressures related to visa status, language barriers, cultural adaptation, employment, and the ongoing search for belonging in a new country.

Financial constraints often limit access to paid wellness programs, further exacerbating feelings of isolation and mental health challenges.

The complete care workshops are designed to…

Help women reconnect with themselves, regain confidence, and feel supported through movement, learning, creativity, and community.

These diverse sessions always begin with a gentle movement activity, such as Pilates or similar exercise, followed by two interactive workshops focusing on vital areas such as nutrition, arts, environmental awareness, beauty and self-care, and energy work.

Why This Program Matters

We directly address these critical needs by:

Combating isolation

Creating a dedicated space for community connection, where women can meet others experiencing similar situations, build friendships, and find mutual support.

Providing Accessible Wellness

Offering free or affordable access to high-quality wellness education and activities, removing financial and linguistic barriers to participation.

Fostering Cultural Belonging

Delivering content in Spanish and featuring Latin/Spanish professionals, ensuring the program is culturally relevant and welcoming.

Promoting Holistic Health

Addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, which are often impacted during the migration journey.

Each session focuses on a theme (Mind, Body, Spirit, Creativity).

Health Coaching A gentle movement session (Pilates, yoga, etc.

A Wellness or Nutrition talk

A creative, emotional, or spiritual wellbeing activity (art, beauty, self-care, eco-living, etc.)

I left with a full heart, new friends, and the certainty that I deserve to give myself time and importance."— María Fernanda, participant

"This event was a turning point for me. I not only learned techniques to improve my health and skin, but I also regained the motivation to take care of myself and make myself a priority. I realized that my wellbeing is the foundation for everything else in my life."— Carolina, participant

Relatable and practical"I loved the combination of movement, nutrition, and self-care. Everything was easy to apply in my daily life, even with little time. I’m leaving with real tools and the confidence that I can feel good inside and out."— Valeria, participant
